Our love of coffee led us to take a great interest in coffee from the plantations to consumption. It is with this in mind that Jules Katabizi, our owner of Buja Café and director of Buja Café 15+, has invested in the production of quality coffee and encouraged people to consume it. The production of quality coffee is the result of a whole series of good agricultural and processing practices. It is an activity that involves all actors in the coffee value chain, from production to marketing. Thus, in a competition that promotes the excellence of Burundian coffee in 2017, Kayanza coffee won the prize for the best coffee.
So our coffee is one of the best. Please, enjoy it!

What´s the secret?
Roasting coffee transforms the chemical and physical properties of green coffee beans into roasted coffee products. The roasting process is what produces the characteristic flavor of coffee by causing the green coffee beans to change in taste. Unroasted beans contain similar if not higher levels of acids, protein, sugars, and caffeine as those that have been roasted, but lack the taste of roasted coffee beans due to the Maillard and other chemical reactions that occur during roasting.

TASTE IT
We have a really good baristas! A barista is someone that specializes in making and serving a variety of beverages. Our baristas prepare both cold and hot beverages using a variety of machines, include blenders, grinders, commercial coffee machines, and steamers. They steam milk, measure ingredients, and grind coffee or espresso beans. All of this we do it only for your best coffee experience!
RELAXING PLACE
Warm colours and lots of light give our Bujacafé a particularly cosy ambience which is appreciated by all our guests. Delicious food at any time of the day: indulge in the rich breakfast menu, small hot and cold snacks for in between and homemade pastries. Our Bujacafé is a popular meeting place for young and old. Our youngest guests also feel particularly at home in the spacious garden.
